Bio:
Jacob was born and raised in San Jose, CA. During his undergraduate education at UCSB, he researched fiber optics and computer vision under the academic guidance of Prof. Michael Gordon. Jacob is now working towards his PhD in Machine Learning, researching topics in process optimization, inverse problems, and data-driven kinetic modeling. His projects involve collaborations with various Georgia Tech research groups and Oak Ridge National Lab, where he recently completed a Summer 2024 research internship. He joined the Boukouvala Lab in Fall 2022.
